Atomic Energy Act was passed on April 15,1948 and Atomic Energy Commission was constituted on August 10, 1948.

Qualification : - For Medical Officer (General Medicine, Radiology & Nuclear Medicine) : M.D. / DNB. or its equivalent from a recognised University.
For Medical Officer (Ophthalmic Surgeon) : M.S./DNB or its equivalent from a recognised University.
For Medical Officer (Obstetrics & Gynaecology) : M.D or its equivalent from a recognised University.
For Technical Officer : M.Sc. in Physics/ Chemistry/ Life Science/ Bio informatics with 60% marks or its equivalent from a recognised University.

Age Limit : - For Medical Officer : Maximum 40 Years
For Technical Officer : Maximum 35 Years. As on 20.10.2015.
Age relaxation is as per Govt. norms.

Application Fee : - A non-refundable application processing fee of `250/- (Rupees Two hundred and fifty only) is chargeable from applicants.
