The National Rural Health Mission(NRHM) is an initiative undertaken by the government of India to address the health needs of underserved rural areas. Launched in April 2005 by Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, the NRHM was initially tasked with addressing the health needs of 18 states that had been identified as having weak public health indicators.

Qualification : - For Staff Nurse Posts : B.Sc. Nursing/ General Nursing & Midwife from any of the 3 Government Nursing school of medical college/ School of Nursing, MCL Talcher/ IGH Rourkela or other recognized private institute recognized by government and registered by Odisha Nursing Council.

For ANM Posts : Passed 12th/ HSC Examination and completed ANM course from a institute recognized by government.

Age Limit : - 21 to 32 Years. As on 01.01.2016.
Age relaxation is as per Govt. norms.
