The Central Reserve Police Force came into existence as Crown Representative’s Police on 27th July 1939. It became the Central Reserve Police Force on enactment of the CRPF Act on 28th December 1949. It has completed 74 years of glorious history.

Qualification : - For CT/DVR Posts : Passed Matriculation/ 10th class or its equivalent from a recognized Board, or university recognized by the Central or State Government and Should possess Transport Vehicle driving licence and pass the driving test at the time of recruitment.

For CT/FTR Posts : Passed 10th/ Matriculate or 12th from a recognized board/ school or its equivalent with 2 years ITI in relevant trade.

For All Other Posts : Passed 10th/ Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized Board/ University recognized by the Central or State Government.

Age Limit : - For CT/DVR Posts : 21 to 27 Years
For All Other Posts : 18 to 23 Years. As on 01.01.2016.
Age relaxation is as per Govt. norms.
Job Profile : - Constable (Technical & Tradesmen) Posts
Job Location : - Various Indian States.

Application Fee : - Candidates belonging to General/ OBC have to pay Rs. 50/- through Online by using SBI Challan, internet banking or Debit Cards, Credit Cards. No application fee is required to be paid by SC/ST candidates, Ex-Servicemen and Women candidates.
Selection Process : - Selection process will be based on Physical Standards Test (PST)/ Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Written Test, Trade Test and Medical examination.
