The Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board was initially set-up as Pre Medical Test Board by Government of Madhya Pradesh in the year 1970. Later, in the year 1981, Pre Engineering Board was constituted. Soon after, in the year 1982 both these Boards were amalgamated and named as Professional Examination Board (P.E.B.).

Qualification : - For Constable (GD) Posts : Passed 10+2 with 10th Class/ Higher Secondry 

Constable (Driver) Posts : Passed 10+2 with 10th Class/ Higher Secondary with Driving Licence

Constable (Trade) Posts : Passed 10+2 with 10th Class/ Higher Secondary with relevant trades experience.

Constable (Radio) Posts : Passed 10+2 with 10th Class/ Higher Secondary or its equivalent.

Head Constable (Computer) Posts : Passed 10+2 / Higher Secondary with the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics. AND Computer or One year IT Diploma form a University/ Institute affiliated by UGC or any higher relevant Education.

For ASI (Computer) Posts : Graduation in Computer/ IT from a University affiliated by UGC or Three Years Poly tech Diploma in Computer IT.

Rs. 700/- + 70/- (Portal Fee) for Open category Candidates (paper II)
Rs. 250/- + 70/- (MP Portal Fee) for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PH (Only Madhya Pradesh Residents) (paper I) as well as Rs. 350/- + 70/- (MP Portal Fee) for SC/ST/OBC/PH (Only Madhya Pradesh Residents) (paper II).

Selection Process : - Selection process will be based on Written Examination,Physical Test/ Trade Test and Medical Examination.
