Northern Railway, the Jewel Set in the Crown of Indian Railways, has embarked on the mission to vanquish distances and create its own metaphor of existence. Formally established in the year 1952, it remains the largest zone in terms of route Kilometers, even after the re-organization of the Indian Railways into 16 zones. Northern Railway now comprises of 5 Divisions-Ambala, Delhi, Ferozpur, Lucknow and Moradabad.

Qualification : - For Group 'C' : Passed 12th or its equivalent examination with 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized board with relevant Scout & Guide certificate.

For Group 'D' : Passed 10th or ITI or its equivalent from recognized educational board with relevant scout & guide certificate.

Age Limit : - For Group C: 18 to 29 Years
For Group D : 18 to 32 Years. As on 01.01.2017.
Age relaxation is as per Indian Govt. norms.
Job Profile : - Group 'C' & 'D' Posts
Job Location : - Delhi 

Application Fee : - Candidate belonging to General /OBC Category are to pay Rs. 500/- & 
For SC/ST/PWD/Women/ minority candidates) are to pay Rs. 250/-
Application Fee can be paid through Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of FA&CAO/Northern Railway, and payable at New Delhi – 110024. (Candidates must write their names & full address in the IPO).
Selection Process : - Selection process will be based on Written Test & Scouting skill Assessment.
