The Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board was initially set-up as Pre Medical Test Board by Government of Madhya Pradesh in the year 1970. Later, in the year 1981, Pre Engineering Board was constituted. Soon after, in the year 1982 both these Boards

were amalgamated and named as Professional Examination Board (P.E.B.).

Qualification : - 
For Staff Nurse : Candidates have passed Intermediate Examination with Biology, Physics & Chemistry and possess diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery or B.Sc. Degree in Nursing registrable with the M.P. Nurses and Midwives Council.

For Lab Technician : Graduate in Biology form recognized University.

For Community Health Worker : B.Sc. with second division form recognized University OR B.Sc.(Agriculture) OR B.Sc. (Agriculture Engineering).

Age Limit : - 18 to 40 Years (Only M.P. Domicile) & Maximum 35 years for Other State. As on 01.01.2017.
Age relaxation is as per MP Govt. norms.
