Prior to 1921, there was no Central Authority constituted in the State to advise Government and other Appointing Authorities in the matters of recruitment to the   state civil services. Government and Appointing Authorities were  making appointments in accordance with the principles laid down by  Government from time to time.

Qualification : - Passed 10th/SSC/12th/HSC or its equivalent examination from a recongized Board/Institute.

Age Limit : - Minimum 18/21 to 26 Years. Age relaxation is as per Karnataka Govt. norms.
Job Profile : - Excise Sub Inspectors and Excise Guards
Job Location : - Karnataka

Application Fee : - For General/OBC Category Candidates are to pay 300/-,
For Category 2A/ 2B/ 3A/ 3B Candidates are to pay Rs. 150/- and 
For SC/ST & Category-1 are to pay Rs. 25/- through Online Mode.
Selection Process : - Selection process will be based on Physical Endurance Test, Physical Measurement Test, Visibility Test, Written Examination & Medical Exam.
