The Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board was initially set-up as Pre Medical Test Board by Government of Madhya Pradesh in the year 1970. Later, in the year 1981, Pre Engineering Board was constituted. Soon after, in the year 1982 both these Boards

were amalgamated and named as Professional Examination Board (P.E.B.).

Qualification : - For Assistant Sub Inspector : Graduation in Computer Science/ Information Technology/IT form UGC recognized University/Institute OR 3 Years Diploma in Computer Science/Information Technology recognized by RGIT or Upper Qualification.

For Head Constable (Computer) : Passed 10+2/ Intermediate Examination with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics form a recognized Board with One year Diploma in Computer Application/IT.

For Constable : Passed 10th Class under 10+2 Examination or High School Exam from a recognized Board or its equivalent.
