Qualification : - For Group ‘C’ Posts : Passed 10+2/Intermediate or its equivalent examination with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized board. or Graduate/Post Graduate from a recognized university.

For Erstwhile Group ‘D’ Posts : Passed 10th/High School or ITI or its equivalent from a recognized educational board.

Age Limit : - For Group ‘C’ : 18 to 29 Years
For Erstwhile Group ‘D’ : 18 to 32 Years. As on 01.01.2016
Age relaxation is as per Govt. norms.

Application Fee : - Candidate belonging to General/OBC have to pay Rs. 100/- through Indian Postal Order from any Post Office drawn in favour of Senior Personnel Officer (Recruitment), Central Railway, Mumbai Payable at Mumbai. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH/Ex-Servicemen/Women Exempted from the payment of fee.
