Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL), a joint venture of Government of India and Government of Karnataka is a Special Purpose Vehicle entrusted with the responsibility of implementation of Bangalore Metro Rail Project.

The commercial operations on Reach-1 (MG Road to Baiyappanahalli station) have opened on 20th October 2011 and The commercial operations on Reach-3 (Nagasandra to Mantri Square Sampige Road Station) have commenced on 1st March 2014.

Qualification : - For Section Engineer : BE(Civil) or Diploma in Civil Engineering OR Diploma in Civil Engineering or ITI certificate in Draughtsman ship OR BE/ B.Tech in any discipline or Diploma in Engineering.

For Assistant Engineer : BE/ B.Tech in any discipline or Diploma in Engineering.

For Dy. Chief Engineer : Candidates holding BE degree should have minimum of 15 years of experience in relevant field.

Age Limit : - For Section Engineer & Assistant Engineer : Maximum 40 years
For Dy. Chief Engineer : Maximum 55 years.
