Northeast Frontier Railway has Five Divisions namely, Tinsukia, Lumding, Rangiya, Alipurduar & Katihar & at field level these Divisions are directly responsible for Train operations and reports to General Manager. Each of these Divisions is headed by Divisional Railway Manager, a Senior Administrative Grade officer of the rank of Joint Secretary to Government of India.

Qualification : - For Group C : Passed Matriculation/ 10th or its equivalent plus ITI/Act Apprenticeship in relevant Trade, approved by NCVT/SCVT . 12th or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized board/university. A President Scout/ Guide/Rover/ Ranger or Himalayan Wood Badge (HWB) holder in any section.
For Group D : Passed 10th/ Matriculate or ITI or equivalent. A President Scout/ Guide/Rover/ Ranger or Himalayan Wood Badge (HWB) holder in any section.

Age Limit : - 18 to 32 Years. As on 01.01.2016.
Age relaxation is as per Govt. norms.

Application Fee : - Candidates belonging to General/OBC have to pay Rs.100/- through IPO drawn in favour of FA&CAO/NF Railway, and payable at Maligaon Post Office, Guwahati-781011. SC/ST/Female/Minorities are exempted from the payment of fee.
Selection Process : - Selection process will be based on Written Examination, Typing Test Personality Test/Interview.
