Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited (HVPNL) was incorporated as a company under the Companies Act, 1956 on 19th August 1997 and was granted the certificate to commence its business on 18th September 1997. Subsequently, the transmission and distribution businesses of the erstwhile HSEB were transferred to HVPNL on 14th August 1998.

Qualification : - For Assistant Engineer : Graduation in Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Civil/Mechanical/ Instrumentation/ Electronics / Electronics & Communication / Electronics & Telecommunication / Electronics & Electrical Communication Engineering from a University duly recognized by Central Government or a State Government with a minimum 60% marks in respect of General category & other category candidates and 55% marks in respect of SC category candidates of Haryana domicile.

For Upper Division Clerk : Graduation in Computer Applications (BCA) with at least 60% marks in respect of General category & other category candidates and 55% marks in respect of SC category candidates of Haryana Domicile, from a University duly recognized by Central Government or a State Government 
OR 
Full-Time MCA/ M.Sc. (Information Technology) from a University duly recognized by Central Government or a State Government.

Age Limit : - For Assistant Engineer : 20 to 42 Years
For Upper Division Clerk : 18 to 42 Years. As on 19.08.2015.

Application Fee : - For Upper Division Clerk : Candidates have to pay Rs. 150/- for Gen (Male/ Female), Rs. 75/- for Gen (Female of Haryana resident only), Rs. 35/- for male of SC/ BC/ SBC/ EBPG candidates of Haryana State only, Rs. 18/- for Female of SC/ BC/ SBC/ EBPG candidates of Haryana State only. Candidates have to pay the fee through e-Challan in any branch of State Bank of India after 48 hours of registration of online application form.

For Assistant Engineer : Candidates have to pay Rs. 1000/- for Gen (Male/ Female), Rs. 500/- for Gen (Female of Haryana resident only), Rs. 250/- for male of SC/ BC/ SBC/ EBPG candidates of Haryana State only, Rs. 125/- for Female of SC/ BC/ SBC/ EBPG candidates of Haryana State only. Candidates have to pay the fee through e-Challan in any branch of State Bank of India after 48 hours of registration of online application form.
Selection Process : - Selection process will be based on written test and interview.
