Haryana Staff Selection Commission (earlier Subordinate Services Selection Board) is constituted as per the proviso of Article 309 of constitution of India, vide Haryana Government Notification No.523-3GS-70/2068, dated 28.01.1970. Through it was granted statutory status of Haryana Staff Selection Commission vide Haryana Govt. Gazette Notification dated 28.02.2005.

Upper Divisional Clerk : 447 Posts
Lower Division Clerk : 964 Posts
Grid Sub Station Operator : 418 Posts
Lower Division Clerk (Head Office/Field) : 109 Posts
Qualification : - For Shift Attendant Post : Graduate in Agriculture or Horticulture form a recognised Board/ University, preferably with specialization in Agricultural Extension, preferably M.Sc. (Ag) in Agricultural Extension.

For Upper Divisional Clerk and Lower Division Clerk Post : Graduation with Commerce at least 60% Marks  and 55% marks for SC category candidates of Haryana Domicile from a recognised Board/ University AND Knowledge of Hindi/Sanskrit upto Matric Standard or higher education. AND "O" Level course or above of computer, for a minimum period of One year from NIELIT(DOEACC) or HARTRON.

For  Grid Sub Station Operator :  3 Years Diploma in Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering from any institute recognized by AICTE or by a state board of Technical Education, with a minimum 55% marks in respect of General Category candidates and 50% marks in respect of SC category candidates of Haryana Domicile. AND Knowledge of Hindi/ Sanskrit upto Matric Standard or higher education.

For General Male/Female Candidates - Rs. 150/- 
For Female of Haryana resident only - Rs. 75/- 
For SC/ B(ySBC/EBPG candidates of Haryana State only- Male: Rs.35/- Female: Rs. 18/-

For Category of 1 to 3, 6,7,11, 13, 19 to 23 posts : 
For General Male/ Female Candidates- Rs. 100/- 
For Female of Haryana resident only - Rs. 50/- 
For SC/B(ySBC/EBPG candidates of Haryana State only- Male: Rs.25/- Female: Rs. 13/-
There is no Application Fee forPhysically Handicapped/ Ex-Serviceman of Haryana.
