The Central Industrial Security Force is a Central Armed Police Force in India. It was set up under an Act of the Parliament of India on 10 March 1969 with a strength of 2,800. CISF was subsequently made an armed force of the Union of India by another Act of Parliament passed on 15 June 1983

Qualification : - Passed 10th/ Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized board or university for skilled trades (i.e. Barber, Boot Maker, Cook, Painter, Mali and Washer Man). Industrial Training Institute trained personnel will be preferred.

Application Fee : - Candidates have to pay an application fees of Rs.50/- in the form of Postal Order drawn in favour of the officer concerned CISF as per Official Notification and  payable at the concerned post office. SC/ST & Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempted from application fee.
Selection Process : - Selection process will be based on further stages is that Eligibility test, Physical Efficiency Test, Written Test and Trade Test.

Fill the Application Form along with Two self addressed envelopes (8 x 19 Cms size) duly affixing postal stamps for Rs.22/- thereon. Two additional self signed (in the front) passport size photographs are required to be attached duly clipped along with application form. The envelop containing above documents should be super scribed “Const/ Barber or Const/ Boot Maker or Const/ Cook or Const/ Mali or Const/ Painer or Const/ Sweeper or Const/ Washer Man in CISF – 2016” send to concerned  Zonal DIG of CISF Office As Per Official Notification on or before 09.05.2016.
