Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC) was established under the Gujarat Industrial Development Act of 1962, with a goal of accelerating industrialization in the state of Gujarat, India. Main role of the GIDC is to identify locations suitable for industrial development and create industrial estates with infrastructure such as roads, drainage, electricity, water supply, street lights, and ready-to-occupy factory sheds.

Qualification : - Clerk-cum-Typist :  Passed the Higher secondary school certificate examination of the Gujarat Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination Board or any
other equivalent examination.

Stenographer Gr-III : Passed the secondary school certificate examination of the Gujarat Secondary School certificate examination Board or any other equivalent examination AND Should have a speed of at least 60 w.p.m. in shot hand and a speed of at least 25 w.p.m. in typing.

Assistant Manager : Graduation of any faculty or have a higher or equivalent degree of
a recognized University.

Assistant Engineer : Graduation in Civil Engineering with atleast IInd class or have a higher or equivalent degree of a recognized University.

Stenographer Gr-III : 18 to 40 Years.
