Banaras Hindu University was created under the Parliamentary legislation - B.H.U. Act 1915.

Laboratory Attendant : 23 Posts
Staff Nurse : 20 Posts
Ward Sahayak/ Sahayika : 43 Posts

Qualification : - For Junior Clerk : Second Class Graduate with at least six months of training on the use of Computer for Office Automation, Book keeping and word processing from a certified Institution or Second Class Graduate with Diploma in Computer recognized by AICTE.

For Staff Nurse : B. Sc. (Nursing)/Diploma in Nursing qualified Staff Nurse of Indian nationality registered with the respective State Nursing Council of India and 6 months (with B.Sc. Nursing) or 1 year (with Diploma in Nursing) working experience as a Staff Nurse in a Govt./Corporate Hospital of repute.

For Ward Sahayak/ Sahayika : Passed High School/ 10th Class and One year experience as Stretcher Bearer/Ward Sahayk-Sahayika in a reputed hospital.

Age Limit : - For Group ‘B’ & ‘C’ Posts : 18 to 30 years
For Assistant Teacher (PGT) : 40 years
For Assistant Teacher (TGT) : 35 years
For Assistant Teacher (PRT) : 30 years. As on 27.08.2016.
Age relaxation is as per UP Govt. norms.
Job Profile : - Group ‘A’, ‘B’ & ‘C’ and School Teaching Posts
Job Location : - Banaras (Uttar Pradesh)

Application Fee : - Candidates belonging to General and OBC Categories under Group ‘A’ Posts are to pay Rs. 1000/- AND
Candidates of General and OBC Categories under Non-teaching Group ‘B’ & ‘C’ and School Teaching posts are to pay Rs. 500/-

Selection Process : - Selection process will be on the basis of written examination for non-gazetted posts of Group ‘B’, ‘C’ (including erstwhile Group ‘D’).
