Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission is headed by the Chairman and Comprises of fourteen other members, all appointed by the Governor of Tamil Nadu, in accordance with the above provisions of the Constitution of India.

Qualification : - For Junior Assistant, Bill Collector, Field Surveyor & Draftsman Posts : Passed S.S.L.C Public Examination or its equivalent with eligibility for admission to Higher Secondary Courses of Studies or to College Courses of studies.

For Typist Posts : Passed S.S.L.C Public Examination or its equivalent with eligibility for admission to Higher Secondary Courses of Studies or to College Courses of studies and Must have passed the Government Technical Examination in Typewriting by Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and English (or) by Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and Lower/ Junior Grade in English (or) by Higher / Senior Grade in English and Lower/ Junior Grade in Tamil.

For Steno-Typist Posts : Passed S.S.L.C Public Examination or its equivalent with eligibility for admission to Higher Secondary Courses of Studies or to College Courses of studies and Must have passed the Government Technical Examination both in Typewriting and in Shorthand by Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and English OR by Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and Lower/Junior Grade in English OR by Higher / Senior Grade in English and Lower/ Junior Grade in Tamil.
