The Staff Selection Commission has nine Regional / Sub-Regional Offices in different parts of the country. These Regional / Sub-Regional Offices are responsible for smooth and peaceful conduct of the examinations. They provide administrative support to the Headquarters for performing various activities involved in the smooth conduct of examinations, like receipt of applications from the candidates, Electronic Data processing of applications, issue of Admit Cards (ACs) to the candidates, booking of venues at various centres within their jurisdiction in consultation with the District Authorities

Qualification : - For Scientific Assistant : Bachelor’s Degree in Science with one of the subjects at Graduate Level in Chemistry from a recognized University or Diploma in Chemical Engineering from a recognized University or State Board of Technical Education.

For Laboratory Assistant : Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) from recognized University with Specialization of subject (Physics/ Mathematics/ Statistics/Chemistry/Computer Science).

For Research Assistant (Civil Engineering) : B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering from recognized University.

Age Limit : - For Scientific Assistant & Research Assistant Posts : 18 to 30 Years
For Laboratory Assistant : 21 to 27 Years. As on 02.10.2016.
