Junior public service commission, the precursor of the Punjab Public Service Commission(PPSC), with its writ running from the Khyber pas to the Jamuna near Delhi, was born at Lahore on May, 1937. In the wake of the partition, the Punjab public service commission resurged in February, 1948, at Shimla with its revised jurisdiction extending over the then Provence of east Punjab following the merger of the state of Punjab and Pepsu.

Application Fee : - Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes of all States and Backward Classes of Punjab State only are to pay Rs. 1125/-,
For Ex-Servicemen of Punjab state are to pay Rs. 500/- Rs.,
For PWD Punjab State are to pay 1750/- & 
For all other categories are to pay Rs. 3000/-
Application Fee can be paid through the System Generated Challan Form.
Selection Process : - Selection process will be based on Competitive Examination & Interview.
