Being an integral arm of the law & order administration in the state, it had to follow the prevailing norms, which in the shape of customary laws, were very rightly, given a position of preeminence.

Qualification : - Passed Class-VIII for APST Candidates and 10th/ Matric/ Class -X for General candidates from a recognized government institution/ Board and Possession of Valid Driving License for LMV/ MMV/ HMV.

Selection Process : - Selection process will be based on Written Examination/ Trade Test,  Physical Standard Test (PSI) and Physical Efficiency Tests (PET), Interview, Scrutiny of Documents, Medical examination/ character & antecedent verification
