The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is India’s central agency authorized to conduct the Civil Services Examination, Engineering Services Examination, Combined Defence Services Examination, National Defence Academy Examination, Naval Academy Examination, Combined Medical Services Examination, Special Class Railway Apprentice, Indian Economic Service/Indian Statistical Service Examination, Geologists’ Examination, and Central Armed Police Forces(Assistant Commandant) Examination.

National Defence Academy : 335 Posts (208 – Posts for Army, 55 – Posts for Navy and 72 – Posts for Air Force)
Naval Academy (10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme) : 55 Posts

Qualification : - For Army Wing of National Defence Academy : Passed 12th Class of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or its equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy : Passed 12th Class of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or its equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University
Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination.

Age Limit : - Candidates born not earlier than 02nd July, 1998 and not later than 1st July, 2001 are eligible

Application Fee : - Candidates are to pay Rs. 100/- either by depositing the money in any branch of SBI by cash, or by using net banking facility of the SBI or by using visa/master credit/debit card. SC/ST candidates/Sons of JCOs/NCOs/ORs who are exempted from payment of fee.
Selection Process : - Selection process will be based on Written Test, Psychological Aptitude Test and Intelligence Test.
