The Himachal Pradesh University was founded on July 22, 1970. It is located at Summer Hill which is at a distance of 5 kms from the main town, Shimla. The University is nestled amidst tall and lush green trees of deodars, oats, pines and rhododendrons. The location of the University presents a panoramic natural view among the woods, settled around Summer Hill. The camps where one half bathes in the fresh sun towards the east and another half in the grandeur of unique sunset on the West. Qualification : - For Junior Officer Assistant : Passed 10+2 from a recognized Board of school Education/University or one years Diploma in Computer Science/ Computer Application information Technology from a recognized University/ Institution or Computer typing speed of 30 words per minute in English and 25 words per minute in Hindi or ‘O’ AND ‘A’ level Diploma from a national institute of Electronics and information Technology (NIELIT) or Diploma in information Technology (IT) from a recognized IT/Institution.
For Peon/Sewadar : Passed Matriculation Examination or its equivalent from recognized Board of school Education/ Institution.
Age Limit : - 18 to 45 Years. As on 01.01.2017.
Age relaxation is as per HP Govt. norms.
Job Profile : - Junior Officer Assistant, Peon/Sewadar Etc. Posts
Job Location : - Shimla (Himachal Pradesh)
For SC/ST/OBC/Antodaya/B.P.L Category Candidates of Himachal Pradesh are to pay Rs.300/- through Demand Draft in favour of Finance Officer, Himachal Pradesh University, payable at Shimla
For Ex-Serviceman/Blind/Visually/Impaired Candidates are exempted from payment of this Fee.
Selection Process : - Selection process will be based on Written test, Skill test, viva-voce test, typing test, screening test and interview.
