The Central Reserve Police Force came into existence as Crown Representative’s Police on 27th July 1939. It became the Central Reserve Police Force on enactment of the CRPF Act on 28th December 1949. It has completed 74 years of glorious history.

Sub-Inspector/SI(Civil) : 135 Posts
 Assistant Sub-Inspector/ASI(Draughtsman) : 03 Posts
Constable/CT/Pioneer (Masson, Plumber, Electrician, Carpenter and Painter) : 102 Posts

Qualification : - For Sub-Inspector : Passed 12th/Intermediate with 3 years Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized Board/Institution or university or equivalent.

For Assistant Sub-Inspector : Passed Matric with English, General Science and Mathematics from a recognized board with three years diploma in Draughtsman Course (Civil/ Mechanical Engineering) from a Govt. recognized Polytechnic.

For Constable : Passed Matriculation / Xth class or equivalent from a recognized Board, or university recognized by the Central or State Govt and Candidates having certificate (Three months & above duration) under National skill qualification framework compliant anchored by National skill development Agency (NSDA) under Govt. of India or certificate of trade from recognized Industrial Training Institute.

Age Limit : - 21 to 30 Years for SI 
18 to 25 Years for ASI and 
18 to 23 Years for Constable. As on 05.05.2017.
Age relaxation is as per Indian Govt. norms.

Job Location : - All over in India

Application Fee : - Candidates are to pay Rs.200/- for SI and 
Rs.100/- for all others posts through SBI Challan OR Net Banking OR Credit card /Debit Card. 
Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and ExServicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from paying fee.
Selection Process : - Selection process will be based on PST/PET & documentation, Written Test, Trade Test and Detailed medical examination.
