The Central University of Jharkhand came into being under this Act on 1st of March, 2009. The Visitor of the Central University of Jharkhand, Her Excellency, Shrimati Pratibha Devisingh Patil, appointed Dr. Darlando T. Khathing, an internationally renowned scientist and a distinguished academic administrator, as its first Vice Chancellor.

Qualification : - Section Officer : A Graduate from a recognized University & Working knowledge in Computer.

Junior Engineer/JE & UDC : Bachelor's degree in Civil/Electrical Engineering from a recognized University/Institute with at least three years’ experience in supervision of erection/ maintenance of electrical/civil works. & Working knowledge in Computer.

Lower Division Clerk/LDC : Passed 12th Class or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University. AND A typing speed of 30 w.p.m. in English or 25 w.p.m. in Hindi on manual typewriter.

Driver : Passed Matriculation with having valid driving license in light and heavy vehicles.

Laboratory Attendant : Passed 10+2 or equivalent with Science and having experience in handling Scientific Appliances, Glasswares and Chemicals.

M.T.S. : Matriculation or equivalent pass OR ITI passed.

Age Limit : - Section Officer & JE : Maximum 35 Years.
Upper Division Clark/UDC : Maximum 32 Years.
Lower Division Clerk/LDC : Maximum 30 Years.
Driver : Maximum 27 Years.
Laboratory Attendant & M.T.S. : Maximum 42 Years.
Job Profile : - Clerk/UDC/LDC, JE & Laboratory Attendant (Non-Teaching) Posts
Job Location : - Jharkhand

No Fee for SC, ST, PH and Women candidates.
