AIIMS, Rishikesh is one of the SIX AIIMS like apex healthcare institutes being established by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY). With the aim of correcting regional imbalances in quality tertiary level healthcare in the country, and attaining self sufficiency in graduate and postgraduate medical education and training the PMSSY planned to set up 6 new AIIMS like institutions in under served areas of the country.

Qualification : - For Office Assistant : Degree of Recognized University or equivalent.

For Staff Nurse : B.Sc Nursing (4 year course) from a recognized institute/ University OR B.Sc. (Post-certificate) or equivalent such as B.Sc Nursing (Post Basic) (2 year course) from a recognized institute/ university.

For Technical Assistant : B.Sc in Medical Lab Technology or Equivalent and 5 years experience in the concerned field OR Diploma in Medical Lab Technology or Equivalent and 8 years experience in concerned field.

For Hospital Attendant : Passed Matriculation from a recognized school/Board and Certificate course in hospital service conducted by a recognized organization (such as St. Johns Ambulance).

For Store Keeper-Cum-Clerk : Graduation from a recognized university with one year experience in handling stores.

Age Limit : - Office Assistant : 20 to 30 Years.
Staff Nurse : 21 to 35 Years.
Technical Assistant : 25 to 35 Years.
Hospital Attendant : 18 to 30 Years.
Store Keeper-Cum-Clerk : Up to 30 Years.
