Eastern Railway was formed on 14th April, 1952 by integration of the East Indian Railway consisting of Sealdah, Howrah, Asansol and Danapur Divisions and the entire Bengal Nagpur Railway. Later on, the portion of BNR stretching from Howrah to Visakhapatnam in the South.

Qualification : - Passed 12th or its equivalent examination with not less that 50% marks in the aggregate. (Not applicable for SC/ST candidates and for the candidates of any category
possessing higher qualification). AND Degree/Diploma Certificate in respective discipline only from Govt. Recognised University/ Institute.

Age Limit : - 18 to 28 Years. As on 01.01.2018.
Age relaxation is as per Indian Govt. norms.
Job Profile : - Cultural Quota of Eastern Railway for the year 2017-18 in Group ‘C’ category Posts
Job Location : - Kolkata (West Bengal)

Application Fee : - Candidates are to pay Rs. 500/-
For candidates belonging to SC, ST, Ex-servicemen, PWD, Women, Minorities and Economically Backward Classes are to pay Rs. 250/-
The Examination Fee is payable only in Indian Postal Order (IPO Payable at GPO, Kolkata)
drawn in favour of ‘FA & CAO, Eastern Railway Kolkata’.
Selection Process : - Selection process will be based on Written Test and Assessment of Talent in the relevant field.
