On the 50th Anniversary year of the Indian Independence, the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi has instituted the Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board. The Board has been incorporated with the purpose of recruiting capable, competent, highly skilled individuals by conducting written tests, professional tests and personal interviews wherever as desired. The Board shall hereby committed to develop selection and recruitment procedures that confirm to the global standards in testing, and promise selections by all fair means, of the most competent, capable, and skilled individuals for user departments.

Qualification : - For TGTs : A Bachelor’s Degree (Honours/ Passed) in a relevant subjects or equivalent from a recognized University having secured 45% marks in aggregate AND Should have qualified CTET from CBSE.

For PGTs : Master’s Degree (Or its equivalent oriental Degree in the case of PGT Sanskrit/ Hindi) in the subject concerned from any recognized University AND Degree / Diploma in training /Education.

For Primary Teachers : Passed Senior Secondary (10+2) or Intermediate or its equivalent from a recognized board / institution. AND Two year’s Diploma / Certificate Course / in Elementary Teacher education Course/ Junior Basic Training or equivalent or bachelor of elementary education from a recognized institution.

Age Limit : - For PGT Posts : Maximum 36 Years.
For TGT Posts : Below 32 Years.
For Primary Teachers : Maximum 30 Years. As on 15.09.2017.
Age Relaxable to SC/ST/OBC/Departmental Candidates/Exsm/PH in accordance with the instructions / orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time

Application Fee : - Candidates are to pay Rs.100/- through SBI e-pay.
Women candidates and candidates belonging to Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe, and Physically Handicapped & Ex-serviceman category are exempted from paying Application fee.
Selection Process : - The selection shall be made through One Tier and Two Tier examination scheme and Skill Test wherever applicable.
