Himachal Circle with its Headquarters at Shimla was carved out of the erstwhile N.W. Circle in December 1986. The Circle encompasses the entire State of Himachal Pradesh covering an area of 55673 Sq. Kms. It comprises 9 Postal Divisions, one R.M.S. Division, one Postal Stores Depot and the office of Director of Accounts (Postal).HP Postal Circle owns the pride to have highest post office in the world at “HIKKIM” (Altitude 14567 feet) under Rampur Bushahr Postal Division.

Examination Fee for all Male Candidates in General & OBC Categories are to pay Rs 300/-. For SC/ ST, Ex-Servicemen Women are exempted for payment of Application fee.
