In the year 1919, the Government of India sent a proposal in respect of the Constitutional reforms to the Secretary,Government of India therein,for the first time, the matter of Public Service Commission was discussed and the provision of establishing the Public Sercie Commission was made under Section 96-C of the India Government Act,1919.However, the said provision did not came into force for a period of 7 years.

Qualification : - HSSLC with at least 50% marks or Graduate and above with 2 (Two) years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) from recognised University and approved by NCTE OR HSSLC with at least 50% marks or Graduate with 2 (Two) years Diploma in Education (Special Education) recognised by RCI AND Passed in Mizoram Teacher Eligibility Test Paper-I (MTET-I).

Application Fee : - For General Category Candidates are to pay Rs 320/- and
For SC/ST Candidates are to pay Rs 270/-
Fee should be paid by cash at the Reception Counter of Mizoram Public Service Commission Office or by depositing into the Treasury under the Head- 0051-PSC, 102-State PSC (Examination Fee. etc) or by uncrossed Indian Postal Order ( IPO) drawn in favour of Secretary, Mizoram Public Service Commission.
Selection Process : - Selection process will be based on Interview.
