Recruitment Details : Karnataka Prisons Department Recruitment 2017: Apply Online for 1,102 Jailor & Warder (Men & Women) Posts.

The department is in charge of the Home Minister and is headed by the Home Department's Secretaries and General Secretaries (PeiAAs). The Superintendent of Police of the Additional Police Directorate and Prison of Karnataka is head of the Department of Prisons. Police Deputy Inspectors (Prison), Deputy Inspectors of Prisons (Central Workplace) and Assistant Managers Assistant in the Central Office. The Chief Superintendent / Superintendent of all Central / District Prisons will look after the prisons involved.
