The Central Industrial Security Force is a Central Armed Police Force in India. It was set up under an Act of the Parliament of India on 10 March 1969 with a strength of 2,800. CISF was subsequently made an armed force of the Union of India by another Act of Parliament passed on 15 June 1983

Qualification : 12th pass with science subject or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board/ University.

Age Limit : 18 to 23 Years. As on 11.01.2018.
The upper age limit is relaxable for SC, ST, OBC, Ex-Servicemen and other special categories of persons in accordance with the Central Government orders on the subject as under.

Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Ex-Servicemen those who are eligible for reservation are exempted from paying fee.
Selection Process : The recruitment process will consist of Physical Standards Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Documentation, Written Examination and Medical Examination.
