It is owned by the Government of India and is under administrative control of the Ministry of Steel. It is India’s largest iron ore producer and exporter producing about 30 million tons of iron ore from 3 fully mechanised mines in Chhattisgarh and Karnataka. It also operates the only mechanised diamond mine in the country at Panna in Madhya Pradesh.

Qualification : A degree in relevant Engineering discipline/ Diploma in relevant trade/M.Sc/ M.Sc(Tech.)/M.Tech in relevant discipline from a Govt. recognized Institute/ University or its equivalent.

Age Limit : For Dy. Manager & Jr. Manager Cadre : Maximum 45 Years.
For Junior Officer : Maximum 35 Years.

For Junior Officer Cadre posts : Rs. 300/- is to be paid by all the candidates.
Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD/Ex-servicemen categories and Departmental Candidates of NMDC Ltd. are exempted from paying Application Fee.
