Northern Railway, the Jewel Set in the Crown of Indian Railways, has embarked on the mission to vanquish distances and create its own metaphor of existence. Formally established in the year 1952, it remains the largest zone in terms of route Kilometers, even after the re-organization of the Indian Railways into 16 zones. Northern Railway now comprises of 5 Divisions-Ambala, Delhi, Ferozpur, Lucknow and Moradabad.

Qualification : Passed 10th class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) with minimum 50% marks, in aggregate, from recognized Board and must have passed ITI in relevant trade recognized by Government.
Age Limit : 15 to 24 Years. As on 27.01.2018.
(Age relaxation for various categories/community shall be applicable as per rules as amended from time to time).

Application Fee : Candidates are to pay Rs.100/- through Online Mode
No fee is required to be paid by SC/ST/PH/Women candidates.
Selection Process : Selection process will be on the basis of merit prepared taking the average of the percentage marks obtained by the candidate in both Matriculation (with min. 50% aggregate marks) & ITI examination giving equal weightage to both.
