The Central Industrial Security Force is a Central Armed Police Force in India. It was set up under an Act of the Parliament of India on 10 March 1969 with a strength of 2,800. CISF was subsequently made an armed force of the Union of India by another Act of Parliament passed on 15 June 1983.

Application Fee : For General (UR) and OBC Category Candidates are to pay Rs.100/- through SBI Challan or Net Banking or Credit card/Debit Card of any bank. 
Fee is exempted for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Ex-servicemen.
Selection Process : The recruitment process will consist of Height Bar Test (HBT), Physical Endurance Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), Documentation, Trade Test, OMR or Computer based Written Examination and Medical Examination.
