Through it was granted statutory status of Haryana Staff Selection Commission vide Haryana Govt. Gazette Notification dated 28.02.2005.

Qualification : Constable & India Reserve Battalions : Passed 10+2 or its equivalent + Hindi/Sanskrit upto Matric standard Or higher educations.
Sub Inspector/SI : Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university/institute or its equivalent. + Hindi/ Sanskrit upto Matric standard.

For Sub Inspector : 18 to 27 Years. As on 01.04.2018.
