The Employees' State Insurance Act which is a social security legislation provides for medical care and cash benefits in the contingencies of sickness, maternity, disablement and death due to employment injury to workers. The scheme was introduced in the Union Territory of Delhi as well as Kanpur city on 24th February, 1952 and was inaugurated by Late Sh. Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru the then Prime Minister of India.

Dresser : 28 Posts
Cook/Cook-mate : 20 Posts
Qualification : - For Staff Nurse : Diploma in General Nursing and Midwife or equivalent Qualification for male nurse. Registered nurse with Nursing Council (+,++).
For Dresser : Passed 10th/ Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board. Two years experience in application of Plasters in an Orthopedic Unit of a registered / recognized hospital (+,++).
For Cook/Cook-mate : Passed 10th/ Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board with two years experience in cooking of Indian food.(+,++)

Age Limit : - For Staff Nurse : Maximum 37 Years.
For Dresser : 18 to 27 Years.
For Cook/Cook-mate : Maximum 27 Years. As on 06.01.2016.
Age relaxation is as per Govt. norms.
