The Services Selection Board has been constituted in exercise of powers conferred by Provision of Section 124 of the Constitution of Jammu and Kashmir. The Rules have been made under SRO 194 of 1992 as amended upto date.

Qualification : - For Jr Scale Stenographer : Graduation or its equivalent having knowledge of Stenographery having 80:40 words speed AND having Computer knowledge from the recognized Institute.

For Driver : Passed Middle with HMV licence.

For Junior Assistant : Graduation from any recognized University with knowledge of type writing having not less than 35 words speed per minute and Six months certificate course in computer applications from a ƒrecognized Institute.

Age Limit : - 18 to 40 Years. As on 01.01.2016.
Age relaxation is as per J&K Govt. norms.
