The Tenughat Thermal Power Station is situated near Tenughat Dam in the district of Bokaro. The nearest railway station is Gomia, which is about 22 Kms from the site. The project is also connected by road from Ramgarh and Gomia. The project was sanctioned for 3 stages, as stage-I of 2x210 MW and stage –III of 1x500 MW Tenughat Vidyut Nigam Limited was created as a separate company (Company’s Act 1956) in 1987. This unit is under commercial operation since September 1997. The firs unit has been running satisfactorily and operating at 40% PLF and oil consumption has been reduced to lower than the all India average of 1.9 ml/KW.

Qualification : - For Lower Division Assistant : Candidates should have Graduate Degree in commerce /Science/Art from a recognized university.

For Computer Typist : Candidates should have Graduate Degree in commerce /Science/Art from a recognized university & 4 years work experience as a computer operator, also must have experience in MS office & minimum typing speed 35 WPM in English and 30 WPM in Hindi.

For Junior Account Clerk : B.Com./B.Sc. with Maths/B.A. with Maths from any Government recognized university.

Age Limit : - Maximum 35 Years. As on 31.08.2016.
Age relaxation is as per Jharkhand Govt. norms.

Job Location : - Ranchi (Jharkhand)
